Chicken Fight (Outdoor game)
Players: 4 to 10, an even number
Materials: None
Surface: Grassy
For this game, players pair up, and the smaller player climbs onto the shoulders of the larger one. Together, they are “the Chicken.” Several Chickens prepare for battle by strutting around, looking ferocious.
Suddenly, one Chicken charges another. The players underneath do the running and backing away, while the top players push and pull each other. The object is to knock a top player off the shoulders of his partner.
If you’re playing with more than two Chickens, you may want to fight two at a time, and then re-match the winners. Or you can enjoy a free-for-all Chicken Fight!
