Duck, Duck, Goose (Outdoor game)
Players: 10 to 20
Materials: None
Surface: Paved or grassy
This game keeps you alert! The players sit in a circle facing in. It walks around the outside of the circle, stopping here and there to tap a sitting player and say, “Duck.” This often goes on for a while as IT waits for his friends to relax so he can catch them off guard.
Suddenly IT taps a player, yells “Goose!” and rushes away. The tagged player must leap up and race around the circle in the opposite direction to reclaim his space. That is, unless IT gets there first!
The player left without a space in the circle becomes IT in the next round.
