Dear family and friends, yesterday I did it again. I shaved my head. My hair was about 70cm long. I was a little nervous at first because I didn’t know what my kids would feel but they were fine especially after they’d seen how my hair was shaved off. My friend Son Nguyen had also shaved his head to support the cause and a few younger ones had their hair coloured. My heart goes out for those who are suffering from cancer and under treatment especially now I seemed to feel the cold alot more than before.

Thank you for everyone who have supported me and especially Long Hoa Buddhist Youth Group for allowing me to host the shaving event yesterday. With your support including Nganh Thieu and Oanh Vu who some had taken money out from their piggy banks to donate, we raised around $281 just for yesterday.

Once again thank you everyone and hopefully one day we will have the cure for not just blood cancer but all cancers.

My dharma sister Annie Nguyen did it! She shaved her head (for the second time) and donated 70cm of her lovely locks to raise awareness for cancer, specifically Leukaemia! Am so proud of her and others (anh Son Nguyen) who participated in the event.
