Coin Pitching (Outdoor game)

Players: 3 to 6
Materials: 5 coins for each player
Surface: Paved, facing wall

Player #1 throws a coin against the curb or the lower part of a wall. Player #2 pitches one in the same way. If it lands within a handspan (from the tip of the thumb to the top of the small finger) of Player #1;s coin, Player #2 may claim it. If Player #2’s coin is further away than a handspan, Player #3 follows, trying to throw his coin so that he may claim one or both of the coins that are out there. There’s no limit to the number of coins you can collect if your coin falls a handspan away.

Continue the game until one player has all the loot.
