Buzz (Outdoor game)
Players: 10 to 20, an even number
Materials: Chalk or rope
Surface: Paved or grassy
Divide the players into two teams and draw a long line separating them. Team #1 sends a player into Team #2 territory, and he tags as many Team #2 players as he can. While he is tagging them, he must make the sound “Buzzzz”” in one long continuous breath—loud enough for everyone to hear. If the tagger can make it back across the line to his own team without running out of breath, the players he tagged are out of the game. But if Team #2 holds him long enough—by grabbing his arms or legs or pinning him to the ground—he runs out of breath and is eliminated himself.
Teams take turns sending a player into enemy territory. The first team to annihilate the other wins.
