Poisoned Pincushions (indoor game)
Players: 10 or more
Materials: 3 or 4 big pillows or cushions
Except for IT, players stand in a circle holding hands and facing inward. IT stands at the center of the circle next to the “poisoned pincushions.” At the start signal, IT walks to one of the circle players and attempts to drag him to the center and toss him on one of the poisoned cushions. The players on either side of the dragged player may hold on, but they can’t step out of the circle or break hands with the players next to them. If IT succeeds in dragging the player to a poisoned cushion, the poisoned player dies and goes out of the game.
The circle of players tightens as each player gets poisoned. Finally, only IT and a single player are left. The game ends with the single player and IT struggling to drag each other to the poisoned cushion. The winner is the sole remaining player.
