Materials: 20 dog biscuits, 2 paper bags
In preparation for the game, the referee goes around the house and hides 20 dog biscuits in various locations.
Each team chooses a Hunter. The rest of the players on the team become Hounds. Both teams start in the same room of the house, and the Hounds practice barking and howling for their Hunter so that he can learn to recognize their sounds.
Sometimes Hounds of rival teams reach a dog biscuit at the same time. In this case both Hunters, assuming each recognizes his Hounds through the noise of his opponent’s Hounds, rush to the scene to pick up the bone. Of course, only one gets there first!
The referee should keep count of all the bones in the Hunters’ bags and call out how many bones remain undiscovered. When the last bone is picked up, the referee takes a last count, and the Hunter with the greater number of bones wins the game for his team.
