Bubble-Pong (indoor game) 

Players: 2 to 4 players in teams
Materials: Soap bubbles for each player or team; construction paper; Ping-Pong table (or table plus 2 pencils, clay, colored yarn, construction paper)

Except for the soap bubbles and construction paper, you can forget the rest of the materials if you have a Ping-Pong table. If not, find the middle of a table and place two balls of clay at the edges. Stick pencils into the balls of clay so that the pencils stand upright like posts. Stretch a long piece of brightly colored yarn across the pencils for a “dividing net.” Fold the construction paper accordionlike into fans, one for each player.

The first player begins by blowing a soap bubble and then fanning it across the net to her opponent. This player, in turn, tries to fan the bubble back across the net. If a player gets the bubble to burst on his opponent’s side of the table, he gets a point and blows the next bubble.

A player may not lean across the net while fanning the bubble to the other side. If this happens, the opponent may call “Foul!” and the offending player loses a point. It might help to have a referee observe the game if this is a serious competition.

The first player to reach a score of 21 points wins Bubble-Pong.
